I'm not a pro but I do believe that this works. I have one in my apartment bathroom and it's most effective with the door closed between use. (The exhaust fan must be as old as the building -50yrs- and there are no windows). It's really for small rooms/spaces. I love that it has a lifetime warranty, though limited, but even more so that the only maintenance is wiping off the outer grid maybe once a month. I've had mine for over a year now with no problems, and I can't remember having to clean the surrounding wall of any black particles that oher smaall purifiers are notorious for. The price may be hard to swallow at first, but I believe it to be worth every penny.
