Holmes HAP9412B-U Small Room HEPA-type Air Purifier Review
I started using this to help remove the moldy odor from my room. It worked well for a few months. It was quiet enough that I could sleep with it on the low setting, and it did a good job of keeping the air fresh. It also looked very stylish on my desk.After a few months, it started to smell like mold/mildew and made me sneeze when I turned it on. I replaced the filter, but it didn't help. Even when I ran it with no filter inside, I could still smell it. Apparently the inside of the purifier itself was contaminated, and there is no way to clean the inside. For this reason, I would not recommend this product. I did not use the air ionizer feature, but I do not know if it would have made a difference.
