I got these b/c I moved into a house with a refrigerator that with an automatic ice maker. The ice always tasted and/or smelled funny and I was going to turn off the auto ice maker and just do it the old way with trays. I couldn't find anything in the manual about changing a filter. So, I decided to try these. They really work.
