Holmes Hap8756 True HEPA Allergen Remover/Air Purifier Review
I suffer from strong pollen allergies (watery eyes, itchy throat, itchy body, even mild asthma...).This year has been particularly bad so far, despite a heavy use of anti-allergy medication like benadryl.
Last week I decided to buy this Holmes air purifier, to see if that works. And, surprisingly I must confess, it is actually very efficient against airborne allergens: I placed this unit in my bedroom, and I had no problem sleeping at night. My itchy throat and watery eyes completely disappeared. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.
The only issue I see is that the unit is a bit noisy, but that does not prevent me from sleeping (it's like having a A/C unit on, you get used to the noise). So I recommend this air purifier for people who suffer from pollen allergies.
